This was an app. And it was already on his iPad.
Liam fished the dead iPad out of the sink. The screen was cracked, dark, lifeless. Jenna’s phone, sitting on the counter, dinged. The black icon stuttered, turned grey, and dissolved into a puff of digital dust.
