Present Day – The Imperial Court (Salusa Secundus) Emperor Javic Corrino (aged, paranoid) sits on the Lion Throne. His Truthsayer , Sister Raquella Berto-Anirul (eldest of the Sisterhood), whispers in his ear. Javic: “The Landsraad grows restless. They say a Harkonnen witch controls my thoughts.” Raquella: “Then let me prove my loyalty, Majesty. Send me to Lankiveil. The Harkonnens are breeding a weapon – a boy who can see the future.” 4. He’s unstable – I saw his vision. A worm that eats stars? That’s not prescience. That’s a trap.” Valya: “The Atreides mutation. Tula found it. If we breed a Kwisatz Haderach now –” Raquella: “We are ten thousand years too early! You’ll shatter the timeline.”
She uses the Voice on the guards – frees Raquella. They escape as the cell explodes (staged). On a dark ship, a figure in a machine-integrated suit (half-human, half-cog) watches holograms of Valya, Javic, and the sandworm vision. Voice (distorted): “The witch races toward her own destruction. Good. Let her birth the monster. We will be waiting.”
