The story follows their "galwakdi" (courtship) period. Initially, Karan is put off by Bani's outspoken nature, and Bani dismisses Karan as a typical foreign-returned "mama's boy." However, as they are forced to spend time together through family functions and situations, they begin to understand each other’s vulnerabilities.
