A window will pop up. Choose a destination (where you want the unzipped files to go). By default, it will create a new folder with the same name in the current location.
Windows 11 has native support for .zip files. No extra software needed.
Drag them to any other folder (Desktop, Documents, etc.). Windows will automatically copy and unzip them there. Method 3: Using the Command Bar (Menu Ribbon) Step 1: Click once on the zipped folder to select it.
That's it! Your files will now be in the new folder. You can also unzip directly into a specific folder:
Click the Extract all button (it has a folder icon with a blue arrow).
Click Extract .
Select the file(s) or folder(s) you want.
