Season 3 of Snowpiercer has moments of gripping, bleak brilliance—especially whenever Sean Bean is on screen or when the show interrogates Layton’s own growing authoritarianism. But it’s also padded, repetitive, and ends on a gamble that feels more like a network-mandated cliffhanger than a natural conclusion.
