Vidaxl: Bauanleitung
A drawing of a smiling stick figure holding a screw. Next to it, an arrow pointing to a wooden dowel. The dowel had a tiny question mark above it.
A screw, an Allen key, and a cam lock nut, arranged in a triangle. Below them, a small drawing of a man crying. vidaxl bauanleitung
Marco had been married for three years, and in that time, he had assembled seventeen items from Vidaxl. He’d built a greenhouse that leaned two degrees south, a shoe cabinet that sighed when you opened it, and a garden shed whose roof only leaked when it wasn’t raining. Each time, he swore it would be his last. A drawing of a smiling stick figure holding a screw
Marco spent twenty minutes deciphering this. Did it mean skip shelf two? Did it mean shelf two was actually the top? He eventually realized—with a flash of violent clarity—that the manual had been printed for a completely different product. This was for the Fjordal 5-tier, not the Edelhoff 4-tier. A screw, an Allen key, and a cam
The manual was a single sheet of paper, folded into an origami of despair. On one side was a grainy black-and-white photo of the shelf, standing proudly in an empty, impossibly clean room. On the other side were the instructions.
But then his wife, Lena, found the Edelhoff 4-Tier Ladder Shelf with Drawer , and Marco felt the old, familiar dread settle in his stomach.
The final pictogram showed the completed shelf. Underneath it was a tiny drawing of a man shrugging. That was it. Just a shrug.
