Leo looked at his motherboard. Hidden between the silver heatsinks and capacitors, he spotted a small black chip with the faintest shine on it. It was unmarked, humble. He had never noticed it before. “Exactly,” Mia said
He opened his game. Rain poured from digital clouds. A distant thunderclap rolled from left to right. He took a step, and the crunch of gravel under his boots was so real he almost looked down. “Good morning, Realtek,” he whispered
