Third entry: – Coming September 2026 .

Unni looked back at the search results. The third film’s poster had changed. The release year now read … but the background showed a calendar flipped to November 2025 – which was still three months away.

Just as Unni clicked the trailer, his phone flickered. A notification popped up from an unknown number: “Don’t watch the third one alone.”

Unni smirked. Appu was the group’s thriller junkie, always hunting for the next twist. He typed into the search bar:

He turned off the phone. The rain stopped. And somewhere in his flat, he could have sworn he heard the soft, dry scrape of a mask being carved. Moral of the story: Be careful what you search for in 2026. Some suspense movies might find you first.

He froze. Then laughed nervously. Appu must be messing with him.

The logline read: A blind audio forensic expert agrees to analyze a 30-year-old cassette tape. But when she plays it backward, she hears a conversation about her own murder – which hasn’t happened yet.

But when he checked his messages, Appu’s last text was from two hours ago: “Sleep early. Boring day tomorrow.”
