Mary sighs, shaking her head. "Sheldon, sometimes I don't know what to do with you."
In a moment of inspiration, Sheldon decides to rip the DVD to his computer, hoping to create a digital copy that he can watch later. He enlists the help of his brother, Georgie, who's more than happy to help his brother with his scheme.
The ripping process complete, Sheldon triumphantly holds up his computer, where the DVD's contents are now stored. But his victory is short-lived, as his mom walks into the room and catches him red-handed.
As they work on ripping the DVD, Sheldon's mind starts to wander. He begins to imagine a scenario where he's a brilliant hacker, using his computer skills to outsmart the villainous DVD copyright protection.
The episode ends with Sheldon reflecting on the consequences of his actions, but not before he whispers to himself, "I'll get my 'Star Trek' episode yet..."
Mary tries to reason with him, explaining that family movie night is a tradition and that they can't just watch TV on their own all the time. Sheldon, however, is unmoved.
